MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Welcome to 2018.

We at WODECO continue to thank God for His assistance and for enabling us to achieve our lofty organizational goals.

On November 11, 2017, WODECO turned 20 and a low-key celebration was put in place at the office to mark the occasion. A round table discussion on effects of corruption on Governance, peace and Human Rights was included in the Day’s program. Well-wishers, beneficiaries and invited guests commended WODECO’s achievements in the last 20 years and encouraged the organization to continue its good works for humanity and for women. Outstanding past and current staff of WODECO were given awards for commitments and hard work during the ceremony.

In 2017 we did not relent in our efforts to improve the living standards, health and welfare of women and girls and to promote good governance in Nigeria.

To be better equipped for the fight against corruption, Mary Ajayi, our Executive Director qualified as a Corruption Risk Assessor after an Intensive Training at the Federal Government owned ICPC training school at Nasarawa.

We shall continue to carry out our duties diligently in the year 2018 as we seize this opportunity to recognize and appreciate our numerous supporters and well wishers for the words of encouragement. Thank you all

                                                "Mary Ajayi"
